Stefy Bau teaching Iranian woman the art of
motocross
Stefy Bau, 2 time former American and World Women
Motocross Champion, teamed up with Noora Naraghi,
from Iran, to help her achieve her dream of
becaming a motocross teacher for women in Iran.
Noora is currently following a detailed program
set up by Stefy Bau, that will allowed the young
woman to conquer her dream.
Stefy, an italian woman that moved to the U.S.
10 years ago to follow her dream of became the
world best. Stefy conquered American and World
titles in the sport and she set stones to build
upon for other women in this sports. Stefy had a
career ending injury in 2005 but she was able to
turn things around and she became the general
manager of the Women World Motocross championship
mentoring the younger girls in this sport. Stefy
also founded the 211 MX school, and she is been
training women world wide since. Stefy is part of
the Women Commission inside the FIM for Motorcycle
world wide.
Noora Naraghi already made head news in Iran and
world wide when she decided to go against her
country laws and create the first ever women
motocross championship in Iran. The race was held
last year at the club that Noora and her family
own, and despite the skepticism from most of the
people, it was an incredible success. 8 women
participants (one of them being Nooras mom)
competed in a 5 laps race and opened eyes to all
Iranian people presents. The racers were cover from
head to toe, as per Iranian law, but that
didnt discourage them to give it their best.
Noora says: we have to wear our
hejab everyday so it was no different
for us, just another day Noora wants to be a
motocross racer, she was granted by her husband a
permission to travel to the US and train from one
of the world best.
She is currently taking classes from Stefy Bau,
an italian woman that moved to the U.S. 10 years

Im very happy to be able to train Noora
and share my knowledge to her. She is a determined
person and wants to make changes in the world. She
reminds me of a young me. I feel lucky to have met
her.
Stefy and Noora are 2 women that chooses
motocross to change the world for female a little
step at the time. Motocross teaches you to never
give up, and those inspiring women took this to the
letter, fighting for their dreams day in and day
