Home town: Lexington, MA
Theresa started racing at the age of 17 on the
local autocross scene with her dad in 2004. He had
been competing in autocross with the BMWCCA and
SCCA for a couple years prior, and thought it would
be a good way for Theresa to learn to be a better
driver on the streets. It didn't take long for her
to become hooked on racing though.
Racing had to take a backseat however when
Theresa started attending McGill University in
Montreal, majoring in physics and music. The
physics degree helped her to better understand the
dynamics of the cars she was racing. She also used
her physics knowledge to help work on the McGill
FSAE team's Formula car.
After graduating in 2008, Theresa became more
serious about racing and attended several ProSolo
events as well as the SCCA Solo National
Championships, where she took home a first place
finish!
Eventually, Theresa would like to attend
graduate school to study car engineering and
design. She is especially interested in the
development of sustainable energy technology in the
automotive field.
For the upcoming year however, Theresa has been
chosen to compete in the Volkswagen Jetta TDI Cup
Series. This is an exciting new series meant to
showcase Volkswagen's clean diesel technology, as
well as help young race car drivers to develop.

Competed in autocross with the SCCA, BMW Car
Club of America and Renegade Miata club
2007:
Placed 3rd at the SCCA Solo National
Championships
2008:
Competed in karting league
Completed Phase 1 of the Evolution Performance
Driving School
Participated in driving school at the New Hampshire
International Speedway with the BMWCCA
Competed in SCCA ProSolo events, with a 4th place
finish in L2
Won the Devens National Tour in her class
Won the SCCA Solo National Championship in her
class
