The Ron Haslam Race School offers you the
experience of riding on a Grand Prix racing
circuit, an introduction to high performance bikes
and the opportunity to improve your skills and
understand the finer points of riding.
We offer expert tuition with race experienced
instructors at Donington Park, probably the finest
circuit in the country.
Our aim is to give you an enjoyable and
memorable time. We know that you will leave us
having improved your riding skills and have better
knowledge of these magnificent machines and
circuit.
Together with Honda we have designed a program
to suit all needs from the introductory through to
a more advanced level.
Riders as young as 12 can now try a CBR125 road
bike in a safe environment. See the 'On-Track'
course for more details.
Friends and family are very welcome to visit
Donington Park free of charge on one of the course
dates. They can view the circuit and Race School
but Please Note: Animals are not permitted.
Refreshments are available throughout the day.
Full catering is available from sandwiches to hot
meals for spectators and students.
Riders as young as 12 can now attend the
On-Track course... not only will it make them safer
and better riders, it will introduce them to
motorcycling with everything provided.
Using Honda CBR125's 12-13yr olds can gain
introduction to riding Performance bikes. Over 14's
can use one of the schools fleet of new CB500s. As
with all of the courses young riders must have had
some experience on a motorbike and must be able to
ride a bike using clutch and gears. If in doubt,
please contact us for advice.
The course lasts approx 2 hrs.
On Track's sign on time is 8.15am. After kitting
up (we provide all kit) there is a briefing
session, then they're taken onto pit lane to meet
their designated Instructor (one to one tuition).
It's an open circuit between 9.00am and 9.40am. No
other course traffic apart from On Track riders are
allowed on circuit during this time for safety
reasons. Only after 9.40am will Premiers and Elites
go out.
After they've come off circuit, theres a final
debrief and then Ron takes them into the paddock to
do further skills and training with them.
All packages include: All leathers, boots,
gloves and helmets will be supplied (if required).
Fully comprehensive insurance is provided, this
also includes personal accident cover. Presentation
of your certificate to remember your time with us.
A souvenir, subject to availability, can be
provided on the day for a nominal price.
