Jodie’s first Score (4/25/05)
Jodie Hemmings returned to the Jedi Series in 2005. Having won the 600cc class in 2004 (15 wins and 15 fastest laps), Jodie stepped up into the 1000cc class at Castle Combe. With only fifteen minutes in the new car, Jodie qualified 6th on the grid, over a second slower than poleman. In the race Jodie got to grips with her new charge, finishing 3rd overall, taking the Driver of the Day and scoring a lap time just 4 tenths slower than the winner. Jodie admitted that this season will be tougher than last with seven potential winners, but don’t expect this to be her last podium for the year, as she begins to renew the blistering form she displayed last year.
