I was introduced to Rallying in 2006 when I went
on a club trip to watch the Spanish round of the
WRC and I loved it!
I started to navigate on club events and then in
2007 entered the ANCC, EMAMC and ANEMMC Road Rally
Championships and came home with a hand full of
awards.
Since then I have competed in the Road Rally
championships and quickly moved up from a novice to
expert navigator. In the last 2 years I have
ventured further afield to Wales, Devon and
Northern Ireland. My first overall win was in 2011
on my local event the VK Road Rally.
I first stage rallied in 2010 and reading pace
notes seemed simple compared to reading a map in
the dark using a magnifier and a head torch at 3 in
the morning!
This year I am competing in the BRC Challenge
with Mark Turner in his Pug 106.
I would love to compete again on Mull and a must
for me is the RAC!
